Paramedics rush to rescue 2yo locked in car
Emergency services have rescued a toddler locked in a vehicle on the Gold Coast this morning.
Queensland Ambulance rushed to French Street at Tugun just after 10.10am, after receiving reports a two-year-old boy had been accidentally locked in a car.
Paramedics assessed and treated the child at the scene and fortunately no hospital transportation was needed.
The incident has prompted a timely reminder for parents and carers – “Remember children & animals should never be left alone in a vehicle,” Queensland Ambulance tweeted.
It is currently 28 degrees on the Gold Coast.
