Beachside Christian Church Pastor, Nick Tatlow said it was a great opportunity for the surfing and Christian community to come together and show their support for this incredibly strong family.
“It’s an extremely sad story to have to tell, but the fact that the Edmonds family have the strength to be able to tell it is amazing,” Pastor Tatlow said.
“We encourage anyone to come along and show their support as I’m sure that in some way we can all learn and draw strength from this family’s experience.
“Whether you’re a surfer, a Christian, or just an interested member of the community everyone is welcome.”
Mr and Mrs Edmonds will be touching on their experiences leading up to, during and after the death of their son and how their faith has helped them deal with their loss.
Community members are invited to visit Beachside Christian Church on Sunday, January 26 at Palm Beach Currumbin State High School situated on Thrower Drive at Palm Beach.
