PARENTS are once again being reminded to keep an eye on children when swimming after three near-drowning incidents across the Gold Coast on Sunday.
A 10-year-old boy remains in a serious condition in hospital after being pulled from a pool at the Cedar Lake Country Resort and Equestrian Centre in Advancetown yesterday morning.
Authorities say the young boy had been without oxygen for a critical amount of time and he was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital but has since been moved to Brisbane’s Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.
