Parents warned after popular baby biscuits recalled nationwide

Parents are being warned of a major nationwide recall involving a popular brand of baby biscuits.

The Organix Finger Foods baby biscuits have been pulled from shelves over fears they may pose a choking hazard to infants.

According to a recall notice posted on the Australian and New Zealand Food Standards website, the biscuits are too crumbly.

“The product can crumble into pieces which may pose a potential choking hazard,” the notice reads.

The recalled biscuits, which come in three flavours: creamy vanilla, strawberry and banana, have been available for sale at Coles, Woolworths and some health food stores nationally.

Parents have been urged to stop using them and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
