Passenger jet catches fire in crash landing at Dubai airport
A PASSENGER jet has crash landed at Dubai International Airport, bursting into flames in impact.
The Emirates plane, believed to be a Boeing 777, caught fire after hitting the tarmac around 12.45pm local time.
It’s understood the flight had arrived at the airport from India and had declared an emergency landing.
There are reports the plane landed on its belly with no landing gear.
Fortunately, all passengers are said to have been safely evacuated from the aircraft.
Miraculously, at this stage, no injuries have been reported.
