Passenger killed in two car crash in southern NSW
A MAN has been killed in a nasty two-car crash in the NSW Southern Tablelands.
The accident happened on the Hume Highway at Paddys River around four o’clock on Wednesday morning.
Police said the 40-year-old man was a passenger in a Hyundai sedan which collided with a truck.
Sadly, the 40-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and could not be saved.
Police confirmed the man died before he could be transported to hospital.
The 46-year-old man behind the wheel of the Hyundai and a 14-year-old boy escaped the collision uninjured.
Police said both vehicles were travelling north.
The 65-year-old truck driver also escaped injury.
Bot drivers were taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
