Pearson in fine form ahead of Commonwealth Games

OLYMPIC champion Sally Pearson has come second in the 100 metres hurdles at an athletics meet in Switzerland, as she prepares for the Commonwealth Games.

The Gold Coaster will next back-up in this weekend’s Anniversary Games in London ahead of the Glasgow Games.

She may pull out of some races though as she battles a hamstring injury.

The injury has put some strain on her Commonwealth Games preperations.

She’s previously said she may not run in the 100m sprint and wants to focus solely on her pet event, the 100m hurdles.
