Pedestrian avoids serious injury after car incident, Varsity Lakes

Emergency services are currently on scene in Varsity Lakes, after a person was hit by a car this morning.

They were called to a private residence just before 6.00am, following reports of a vehicle and pedestrian incident.

It’s still not clear exactly what happened, but paramedics remain on scene with a male.

He’s reportedly in a stable condition, and won’t need to be taken to hospital.

Queensland Ambulance were unable to confirm his age.

It comes after two people were hospitalised as a result of a two car crash in Pimpama last night.

Paramedics rushed to William Boulevard just after 7.00pm, following reports that two cars had collided.

Two people suffered neck and back pain in the incident, and were both taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
