Pedestrian hit by a car in Gold Coast’s peak hour traffic
A woman’s been hospitalised after she was hit by a car during peak hour on the Gold Coast this morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Bermuda Street and Markeri Street in Mermaid Waters around 8.30 am.
On arrival, they briefly assessed an adult female for minor injuries, before taking her to hospital for further treatment.
She’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Meantime, paramedics have been called to the scene of a two-car crash in Helensvale.
It happened along Siganto Drive near Oxenford Hope Island Road just after 9.00 am.
It’s not clear if anyone’s been injured just yet.
