Pedestrian hit by car in early morning crash on Gold Coast

A pedestrian has been hospitalised after being hit by a car on the Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning.

The accident happened on Davison Lane in Southport just after 1.00am.

The pedestrian, whose age and gender is not known, miraculously managed to escape with only minor injuries.


They were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University hospital in a stable condition.

Around an hour later, Queensland Ambulance crews were called to Glenview Road in Upper Coomera following a single-vehicle crash.

A woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier in the evening, a  man in his 20s was injured in a two-car smash along Attenborough Boulevard in Pimpama.

He was also transported to the Gold Coast Uni hospital stable.
