Pedestrian killed in hit and run, Logan

A man in his 20s has been killed after he was struck by a car in Logan yesterday afternoon.

The 25-year-old from Browns Plains was walking along Wembly Road near Greenfern Drive around 3.00 pm, when he was struck by a white Audi.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite desperate attempts, the man couldn’t be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The white Audi fled the scene before emergency services arrived, so police are trying to track the S3 wagon down now.

They’re also looking for a blue 2003 Toyota Camry.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage from the Wembly Road area yesterday afternoon is being urged to come forward.
