A WOMAN has died after being hit and killed by a car on the NSW South Coast.
The incident occurred in the small coastal town of Gerringong, south of Kiama, on Saturday morning.
Police said the woman was walking along Fern Street when she was hit by a Hyundai 4WD.

The Hyundai was then involved in a crash with a Mitsubishi Lancer.
The pedestrian was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to hosptial.
Sadly, police confirmed the woman died in the back of the ambulance. Her age is not yet known.
The two drivers were taken uninjured to Shellharbour Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
