A person’s been rushed to hospital with serious injuries, after they were hit by a car on the Gold Coast last night.
Emergency services were called to Hinze Street and Scarborough Street in Southport around 7.00pm, following reports of a car and pedestrian incident.
They briefly treated a person at the scene before rushing them to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

It’s not clear exactly what injuries the person sustained in the crash, though paramedics have described them as ‘serious’.
Their current condition is not yet known.
