Perfect truffle menu now available at Cucino Vivo

In celebration of sharing the finer things in life Jupiters Hotel & Casino have announced a special truffle menu will star at the extremely popular Cucina Vivo until August 24.

Guests and their loved ones will be treated to a dining experience like no other as their tastebuds are led on a spectacular journey, centred around one of the world’s finest ingredients.

Jupiters Hotel & Casino’s Chef de Cuisine Jeremy Allan said the exclusive menu would invite guests to embrace the restaurant’s food philosophy by combining fresh Australian produce with the flavour of the season.

“As a result of Cucina Vivo’s popularity, we are seeing more and more guests return with their family and friends to share in the authentic Italian cuisine and beautiful Amalfi-inspired surrounds,” he said.

“It’s created an incredible atmosphere that celebrates great food and has inspired our Chefs to craft a special menu featuring some of the world’s best truffles grown right here in Australia.

“Whether you are looking to try something new or simply seeking the finer things in life, this menu will definitely not disappoint.”

Cucina Vivo’s truffle delights will include Gnocchi con Tartufi di Tasmania – shaved perigord truffles of Tasmania, gnocchi, extra virgin olive oil and parmigiano reggiano; Lasagna Aperta – trawler caught prawns and Tasmanian truffle open lasagne and the pièce de résistance Anatra Affumicata – Smoked duck breast, warm winter salad with truffle mustard vinaigrette.

Only the finest truffles will be included, harvested under the magnificent English Oaks at Perigord’s northern Tasmanian Truffle plantation.

The beautiful Perigord plantation is situated under the great Western Tiers mountain range which boasts year round fresh clean air and regular snow falls in the winter harvest period, perfect conditions for growing the highly sought after ingredient.

Cucina Vivo will also serve a range of specially designed truffle-infused cocktails to complement the incredible culinary experience:

Truffletini
Pear juice, truffle infused vodka, truffle salt, truffle oil and chardonnay

Tom’s Truffle
Truffle infused vodka, cognac sugar, aztec chocolate bitters and smoked coffee

Cucina Vivo is open for dinner daily from 5.30pm and lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon. The restaurant is located on Level 4 of Jupiters Hotel & Casino and is also available for group bookings.
