UPDATE @ 2.50 PM | A man has been rushed to hospital following a workplace accident on the northern Gold Coast this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to a workplace off Boatworks Drive in Coomera just after 1.30pm on Thursday.
Upon arrival, they found a man aged in his 50s suffering leg and pelvic injuries.

According to a spokesperson from the Queensland Ambulance Service, the accident is believed to have involved heavy machinery.
The man was treated on scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
The spokesperson confirmed the man was transported in a serious but stable condition.
EARLIER @ 2.15 PM | Emergency crews are currently on the scene of a workplace accident at Coomera on the northern Gold Coast.
Paramedics were called to a location off Beattie Road just after 1.30pm.
Upon arrival, they found one person suffering a significant leg injury and pelvic pain.
A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed to myGC that a number of police crews are also on scene.
It’s not known at this stage exactly what has occurred.
