Pet dog trapped after falling down cliff on Gold Coast
A rescue operation is currently underway to retrieve a pet dog stuck at the bottom of a cliff at Currumbin.
Firefighters and the RSPCA are at the scene attempting to reach the dog, believed to be an American Staffordshire Terrier.
Photos posted to social media by 7NEWS Gold Coast Journalist Mac Lyon show Queensland Fire and Rescue crewmen abseiling down the side of the cliff.
It’s understood the lost dog was discovered yesterday after locals heard whining and barking.
