Firefighters worked quickly to contain the flames, however the caravan was completely destroyed.

According to the Australian Associated Press (AAP), a female performer lived in the caravan with her partner.

The couple lost everything they owned in the blaze, including their four pet puppies.

Thankfully, the couple were not injured.

The Ashton Circus is an animal-free show and is one of the longest running events of its kind in the world.
