A photographer has been charged over the alleged indecent assaults of two girls in the Newcastle region.
The 55-year-old man was taken into custody at a studio in Gateshead on Wednesday after detectives established a strike force last year to investigate sexual offences by a professional photographer.
The man, who police allege indecently assaulted a then aged 17-year-old girl and a 21-year-old girl at a studio between 2009 and 2012, was charged with two counts of incite person 16 years or over to commit act of indecency, and two counts of assault with act of indecency.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Belmont Local Court on Wednesday 10 October.
Police say investigators are continuing with their inquiries into the matters.
