Pilot dies after serious helicopter crash in NSW
A man has died three days after the helicopter he was flying ploughed into powerlines in southern NSW.
Emergency crews were called to a property on Carrathool Road in Conargo shortly after 11am on Friday, following reports of a serious helicopter crash.
Upon arrival, the male pilot was pulled from the wreckage of the chopper after becoming trapped inside following the crash.
The 34-year-old from Griffith was treated on scene by paramedics before being flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
Sadly, police have confirmed the man passed away in hospital earlier this morning.
The crash site remains under the control of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
