A Pimpama man, 38, has been charged over the alleged assault of a three-month-old baby boy at a Robina residence in June.
The baby suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
In a statement, Queensland Police said it’s alleged baby’s injuries are consistent with being shaken.

Detectives from the Gold Coast Protection and Investigations Unit launched an examination into the case, resulting in the man’s arrest.
He’s been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and has been ordered to front Southport Magistrates Court on November 29.
It comes after another Gold Coast man was charged over a similar assault yesterday.
