Pizza delivery man threatened with machete and robbed

Police are appealing for information after a pizza delivery man was robbed in Kingswood yesterday.

Just after 5.20pm (Wednesday 19 August 2015), a 37-year-old pizza delivery man arrived at a unit block on Rodgers Street to deliver a pizza order.

Police have been told the man entered the unit block, when he approached a man believed to be the customer.

The man produced a machete and the delivery man ran from the scene, leaving the delivery.

The armed man took the pizzas and was last seen running towards the Great Western Highway.

Officers attached to St Marys Local Area Command were called and commenced investigations.

As police continue their inquiries, they would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 25-35 years old, about 180cm tall, and of slim build.

The man was seen wearing a spray jacket and matching pants.
