He has been charged with sexual intercourse with person aged 14-16, produce child abuse material, and two counts of drug supply.
The incident has prompted police to remind teenagers that the production of any material depicting nudity or sexual activity involving young people could constitute a criminal offence.
“Teenagers should be aware they could be arrested and charged and, if convicted, end up with a criminal record.”
“Additionally, any images or information disseminated can quickly go viral – once you press send it’s definite and final and you can never get it back. For that reason, police urge teenagers to think very carefully before sending any items that they would be uncomfortable with becoming public.”
