Police are investigating after a boy was assaulted by a man in Wahroonga last week.
About 3.10pm on Friday (24 July 2015) an 11-year-old boy was waiting to cross Edgeworth David Avenue, at the intersection with Myra Street, Wahroonga, when a man who was sitting on a seat nearby grabbed him by his backpack and pulled him down on to the seat next to him.
The man then put his arm around the boy, but did not say anything. The boy stood up and walked away before reporting the incident to his parents later. He was uninjured.

The man is described as Asian in appearance, aged in his 60s, with a round face, short black hair, and was wearing grey pants, and a brown jacket. He was also holding a black walking stick.
Police from Kuring-Gai Local Area Command are continuing inquiries and are appealing for information.
