Police appeal after firearm was stolen during break-in at NSW home

POLICE are seeking assistance from the public after a .22 calibre firearm as well as three motocross trail bikes, a Suzuki motocross bike and assorted power tools were stolen from a property on Silverdale Road, Werombi, in Sydney’s south west. 

Police believe the thefts occurred between 7pm on Sunday 23 August 2015 and 7.50am on Monday 24 August.

The property owner told police the firearm was on the wall of the garage when he bought the property 14 years ago, and had never been moved.
