Police appeal after two children approached by man

Police are appealing for information after two children were approached at Grafton yesterday (Tuesday 11 August 2015).

About 2.30pm, a man reportedly approached two children who were seated in a car on Prince Street. The man spoke to the children, aged nine and 12, before walking away.

The children told their father when he returned to the vehicle. He then approached the unknown man, but the man got into a car and drove away.

The incident was reported to Grafton Police who are making a number of inquiries.

They would like to speak to a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged about 60, with a slim build and long grey hair. He may be driving a white Holden Commodore bearing Queensland registration plates.
