Stolen Palm Beach dog reunited with family

UPDATE: THE Palm Beach family who had their American Staffordshire Terrier stolen on Sunday afternoon have been reunited with their 20 month old pup ‘Linc’.

This morning, the family received an anonymous tip off that Linc would be handed over at Yatala.

Kath, the mother of Linc went to Yatala this morning and got her pup back, however the dog thief ran away.


The police are continuing their investigation.

The family took to social media today thanking everyone who shared their story, resulting in his safe return.

EARLIER: POLICE are seeking public assistance in relation to the theft of a dog from a house at Palm Beach on Sunday.

Around 1pm a man entered a Tahiti Avenue property and stole an 20-month-old male Staffordshire cross dog, named Linc.

Linc is chocolate brown and was wearing a black collar with white studs.


Police have released CCTV footage of the incident and are seeking anyone who may  recognize the man depicted in the footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
