Police appeal for public help to find missing Sydney teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenager missing from St Marys since Monday.

Taleigha Telefoni, 16, was last seen about 2pm on Monday 13 June by friends in the Cranebrook area.

When Taleigha failed to return to her St Marys home, her parents contacted police.

Officers commenced a search for Taleigha; however she has not been seen since.

Taleigha’s family and police hold concerns for her welfare, as her disappearance is out of character.

Taleigha is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 165cm tall, with long dark hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt and a jumper.

Police believe Taleigha may be around the Mt Druitt area.

Anyone with information on Taleigha’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
