Police appeal for witnesses after woman hit by car in Sydney

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a car in Sydney’s North West overnight.

The accident occurred around 10.00pm, whilst a 66-year-old woman was allegedly crossing the road at the intersection of Crane Road and Orange Grove Road at Castle Hill.

Paramedics treated the woman at the scene before she was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The driver, an 18-year-old woman, was taken to hospital to undergo mandatory blood and urine testing.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing with witnesses urged to come forward.
