POLICE have arrested an associate of the Rebels OMCG at his Nerang home, as a result of a drug operation closure in the Whitsunday area.
Search warrants were executed at two addresses, with detectives locating $21,800 in cash as well as drug related property.
The 38-year-old man was charged with a number of offences including trafficking methylamphetamine (Ice), cannabis and methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) as well as the importation of a border controlled substance.

He appeared in the Southport court and was remanded in custody.
Acting Detective Inspector Tim Leadbetter of Taskforce Maxima said that the enforcement action provides further evidence of the criminal activities of the gangs and their networks.
“The Queensland Police Service remains committed to tackling gang crime, to ensure a safer community for all,” Acting Detective Inspector Leadbetter said.
