Police have arrested an alleged Kings Cross drug dealer known locally as “Mr Ice”.
Last month, officers from Kings Cross Local Area Command formed a strike force to investigate the supply of methylamphetamine, or “Ice”.
As a result of these investigations, police yesterday (Wednesday 7 October 2015) arrested a 52-year-old man on Darlinghurst Road in Kings Cross.

It will be alleged the man was the primary supplier of “Ice” in the Kings Cross area, and is known among local drug users as “Mr Ice”.
Police further allege that over a 21-day period, the man supplied “Ice” on at least 146 occasions.
The man has been charged with ongoing supply of a prohibited drug, possession of a prohibited drug, and dealing with proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail and will appear before Central Local Court today (Thursday 8 October 2015
