Police car written off in Toowoomba crash

A woman has been taken to hospital after ramming her car into a police vehicle in Toowoomba.

It’s understood the police car was written off when it was hit by a car near the corner of Wuth and Platz streets at Darling Heights on Saturday evening.

The driver of the car, a 33-year-old woman, was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with chest injuries.

Four of her passengers, and two officers who were travelling in the police vehicle, were treated for minor injuries.

Investigations into the crash continue.
