UPDATE @ 10.00am: A man charged with the stabbing murder of a father at Murwillumbah on Tuesday has been remanded in custody.
The 22-year-old faced Tweed Court on Wednesday morning, where no bail application was made.
He is due to reappear in court on June 27th.

An 18-year-old man remains in a critical condition in Gold Coast University Hospital after the Knox Park attack.
EARLIER @ 7.00am: A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder after a wild brawl, that killed one man in Murwillumbah.
Two others were injured during the fight – involving around 20 people armed with glass bottles and knives.
It happened at Knox Park in Brisbane Street on Tuesday afternoon.
A 46-year-old man was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital where he later died.
An 18-year-old man remains in a critical condition in Gold Coast University Hospital.
Another aged 29, was taken to Murwillumbah Hospital suffering minor injuries.
The 22-year-old man will appear in court today.
