POLICE have closed a major drug investigation in the Logan area, arresting 27 people on 79 charges.
Officers executed 14 search warrants during the two-day operation on October 24 and 25, with the majority of the homes targeted by police in Eagleby and Beenleigh.
Detectives said most of the charges relate to the possession of dangerous drugs including Methylamphetamine, Cannabis and Ecstasy, with officers also seizing other illegal items including a Taser and several sets of knuckledusters.

Two stolen vehicles were also recovered, with three people charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Detective Inspector Tod Reid from the Logan District said the raids were to prevent drugs spreading into the community.
“Illegal drugs like Methylamphetamine are a scourge on our society,” Detective Inspector Reid said.
“This operation resulted in the removal of dangerous drugs and weapons from our community, making it a safer place and we will continue to use calculated and targeted methods to disrupt and dismantle these networks.”
The majority of those charged are due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Courts over the coming weeks.
