Toddler subject to Amber Alert found safe and well

LATEST @ 9.15 AM | A 3-year-old girl subject to a Queensland Police Amber Alert this morning has been found.

The little girl was taken from a home in Beenleigh by a man on Sunday afternoon, with fears being held for her safety.

However, police confirmed a short time ago that the child has since been found safe and well.


EARLIER @ 7.30 AM | An amber alert has been issued for a missing 3-year-old girl who police believe could be at significant risk.

The child was taken from a home on Lehville Street in Beenleigh on Sunday afternoon by a 33-year-old man, however he failed to return the child as planned.

The toddler is described as Caucasian in appearance, 80cm in height, of a slim build with brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a bright green shirt and blue shorts.

The man is described as Caucasian, around 180cm tall, of a proportionate build with brown hair and also has blue eyes.

EARLIER @ 4.20 AM | POLICE are desperately searching for a man and three-year-old girl who have been reported missing from the Beenleigh area and are considered “high risk”.

The pair left a Lehville Street address on foot around 3.40pm on Sunday and have not been seen or heard from since.

Police have said they hold grace concerns  for both the man and child’s welfare due to a medical condition.

The man  is described as Caucasian, 178cm tall, brown hair, blue eyes with a proportional build.

The 3-year-old girl is described as Caucasian, 80cm tall, brown hair, blue eyes with a small build.

Anyone that has seen either the man or young girl or has any information is urged to contact police.
