Police discover elaborate, hydroponic cannabis set-up at GC home

Police have uncovered an elaborate, hydroponic cannabis set-up at a home in Tallebudgera.

The discovery was made after officers executed a search warrant at the Trees Road property around 8.15am yesterday.

During the raid, police allegedly located the hydroponic set-up in the garage and seized over 90 cannabis plants.

A blue tongue lizard was also located at the home and wildlife officers were called in to remove the animal.

A 37-year-old Tallebudgera man was issued a Notice to Appear and charged with one count of possession of dangerous drugs and two counts each of possession of drug utensils and possession of anything used in the commission of a crime.

A 41-year-old Tallebudgera man was also issued with a Notice to Appear and charged with one count each of possession and production of dangerous drugs, possession of drug utensils taking and keeping restricted wildlife and two counts of possession of anything used in the commission of a crime.
