Police discover elaborate hydroponics setup in suburban Sydney home

A man has been charged after police discovered an elaborate hydroponics setup inside a home at Peakhurst.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the Webster Street on Tuesday as part of ongoing investigations into the supply of cannabis across Sydney.

During the raid, police allegedly located cannabis plants with a street value of $190,000 and identified a hydroponic set up in three rooms.

A 28-year-old man was arrested in a bathroom at the home and charged with cultivate prohibited plant (commercial quantity), and use/consume/waste electricity without authority.
