Police have confirmed that a body found at a southeast Queensland waterhole, is believed to be that of a young man missing since yesterday.
Around 2.15pm Sunday, a man aged in his 20s jumped from a rock into water at Coomba Falls and failed to resurface.
Police and other emergency services conducted a search for the man however he could not be located.

The search was suspended upon nightfall and recommenced this morning, with police divers tragically locating a body this morning.
Police say the man is from the Darling Downs.
