The first weekend of Schoolies celebrations on the Gold Coast wrapped up last night, with police generally pleased with their overall behaviour.
Overnight, officers arrested nine school leavers on 11 offences which were mainly for public nuisance and drug possession.
Six Schoolies were also issued with liquor infringements notices.

Police have revealed more Toolies than Schoolies were taken into custody, with 14 non-schoolies arrested on 14 charges, mostly relating to public nuisance and drug possession.
It was another busy night for paramedics, with 90 schoolies requiring treatment and two needing transport to hospital
Of those assessed by paramedics, 62 were female and 28 were male.
