Police: Girl abducted, forced into car and assaulted in NSW

Police are investigating after a 15-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and indecently assaulted by two men near Newcastle.

Police said the teenage girl was grabbed by a man after getting off her school bus on Blackwood Crescent at around 4.45pm on Tuesday.

A second man then allegedly pulled up nearby in a small black four-door sedan.

Police said the girl was forced into the backseat of the car where she was allegedly indecently assaulted.

“The girl fought back against the man punching him a number of times before she broke from his grasp and ran away,” police said in a statement.

Fortunately, the girl was not physically injured.

Detectives are investigating and are appealing to the public for assistance as they search for the girl’s offenders.

One of the men is described as having a tanned complexion and a solid build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, faded black baggy jeans, and black sneakers.

The other is not further described.
