Police hoping to return suspected stolen property after Surfers Paradise raid

Gold Coast police are looking to return a hoard of stolen items, following a search warrant that was executed last month.

On July 31 officers raided a Surfers Paradise property, locating scores of suspected stolen property.

Amongst the possessions found, was a Sydney 2000 Olympic Games coin collection, a collection of model cars and collectable skateboards.

As a result of the discovery, a 37-year-old man was arrested and has since been charged with break and enter, receiving tainted property, stealing and unlawful possession of stolen property.

He’ll front court on August 27.

In the meantime, police are seeking public assistance to locate the owners of the suspected stolen property (pictured below).
