Police hunt in Broadbeach

POLICE dogs and 10 crews have been called in to search for five men who escaped from a vehicle pulled over in Broadbeach on Thursday night.

According to police, the four-wheel-drive stationwagon was pulled over around 9:40pm on Elizabeth Street.

Five men jumped out of the allegedly stolen car, sparking the large scale man-hunt.

It’s understood one person is helping them with their enquiries.

No charges have been laid at this stage.
