Police on the hunt for man after 5yo boy indecently assaulted

Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man who allegedly indecently assaulted a child outside a shopping centre in Bankstown earlier this year.

Detectives say around 2.45pm on Thursday 19 May, a five-year-old boy was with his aunt when they walked to the northern end of the bus exchange at a shopping centre on North Terrace.

“A man called out to the child and motioned for him to come to where he was seated. He then reportedly touched the child inappropriately,” police said.
