POLICE are hunting a man who allegedly grabbed an 11-year-old girl and pulled her to the ground as she walked along a footpath at Lawnton, north of Brisbane.
Police said initial information suggests that the child was walking along the Francis Road overpass about 3.20pm when a man approached her.
It’s alleged the man grabbed the girl by her waist and pulled her to the ground before fleeing the scene on foot.

Police said the man, described as being Caucasian and aged in his early 20s, was last seen running to a dark coloured SUV that was parked on Park Lane.
The man had a shaven head and a proportionate build and was wearing a light bluee t-shirt, running shoes and black shorts at the time, police said.
Thankfully, the girl was not physically injured during the incident.
Detectives are urging anyone who was in the area at the time and has information that could assist them with their investigation to come forward.
They particularly want to speak with anyone who was driving through the area with a dash camera.
