Police hunt men after attempted abduction

POLICE are reportedly on the hunt for two men who allegedly tried abducting a woman on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

Early reports suggest the pair tried abducting the woman from near the Marina Mirage shopping centre on SeaWorld Drive just after 1pm. 

Officer’s were called and saturated the area in the search for the alleged offenders, but to no avail.


The Gold Coast Bulletin reports one of the men was about 50-years-old and wearing red boardshorts, the other 30 and wearing a high-vis work shirt. 

It’s believed they were last spotted trekking through bushland near SeaWorld Drive.

The woman is said to be now with police, assisting with their investigations.
