Officers intervened and one of the men, a 21-year-old, told police he was involved in an earlier fight with another unknown male when a 26-year-old man approached him and placed him in a headlock.

As a result of the scuffle, a woman was knocked over. A number of people were also issued ‘move on’ directions.

The two men were arrested and taken to Kings Cross Police Station for questioning however were released a short time later pending further inquiries.

A third male was detained at the scene to prevent a breach of the peace.
