Police hunt shooter after man shot in Sydney’s south-west

Police are searching for a shooter after a man was shot in Sydney’s south-west overnight.

Emergency services were called to Lincoln Street in Miller just after 9pm following reports that a man had been shot.

On arrival, officers found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

Police said the man’s injuries are serious but are not considered to be life-threatening.

Detectives are now investigating the incident and are searching for the shooter.

It was the first of two shootings in Sydney’s south-west overnight.

A house was sprayed with bullets in Fairfield around 3.30am.

Fortunately, five people inside the house escaped uninjured.

Police are still searching for the gunman.
