Police hunt thugs over violent attack at Upper Coomera servo

POLICE are searching for three young men who allegedly fractured a man’s skull in a violent attack at a service station on the northern Gold Coast.

It happened outside a servo on Brygon Creek Road at Upper Coomera around 12.30am on Sunday.

The trio is accused of brutally bashing the 38-year-old man before running off with his wallet and phone.


The older man was beaten so badly, he was rushed to hospital with a fractured skull.

Police today released CCTV images of his alleged attackers in the hope someone may recognise them.

The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 180cm tall and aged in his late teens or early 20s with a proportionate build, brown shoulder length curly hair and a “fuzzy moustache”.

He was wearing a black t-shirt with a white ‘cocaine & caviar’ logo, a dark coloured cap, grey shorts and black and white Adidas sneakers.

The second is described as being Indian in appearance and around 180cm tall with a proportionate build, dark short hair and tattoos on his left calf, left upper arm and right forearm.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts with a white logo and white sneakers.

The third man is described as being Caucasian in appearance and around 178cm tall with muscular build, brown short hair and possibly a birth mark or tattoos on his left thigh.

He was wearing a black tank top, black white Adidas shorts and black sneakers.
