Police hunt trio after Logan pub held up, stolen car set alight

A MANHUNT is underway for three men who held up a Logan tavern armed with a machete, ace and a wrench in the early hours of Friday morning.

The trio made their way to the front of the Pub Lane tavern around 3.30am where they confronted the 45-year-old security guard before storming their way into the premises.

The men then threatened the 31-year-old woman working inside before stealing some cash.

They were last seen getting away in a stolen silver Chrysler 300C sedan with Queensland registration 801 YII which was found burnt out in North McLean, around 3 kilometres away.

Thankfully, nobody was hurt during the incident.

Inestigations continue.
