Police hunt trio after brazen stabbing in Labrador

POLICE have released a still image of three men wanted over a savage stabbing at Labrador on Tuesday.

It’s understood a 32-year-old man was walking along Marine Parade when he was bailed up by three men in a light coloured Mitsubishi Pajero around 3.50pm.

It’s alleged the trio used their vehicle to chase down their victim before two men got out of the Pajero and began to assault him in front of horrified onlookers.

Police said the man managed to break free and run along Marine Parade for a short distance before being chased down and stabbed in the back.

He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is currently in a stable condition.

The men re-entered their vehicle, which was being driven by a third man, and fled the scene.

As investigations continue, police have released a still image of the three men and a vehicle similar to the one used in the attack.

The male driver is described has having a light brown complexion and long black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue spray jacket.

The second man is described as Caucasian with short brown hair, approximately 182cm tall, wearing a light grey or white T shirt with a motif on the front, blue football style shorts, with tattoos on both arms and his right leg.

The third man is described as having a light brown complexion, short dark hair and was last seen wearing blue denim jeans and a dark T shirt.
