Police hunting couple after terrifying hit and run on Logan Motorway

A man and woman remain on the run this morning after allegedly ramming a stolen four-wheel drive into a number of cars, including an ambulance, on the Logan Motorway overnight.

The chaos unfolded around 8pm, when the alleged stolen 4WD tried to weave around traffic which was stopped at roadworks in Parkinson.

“The four-wheel drive then reversed into a car before scraping down the right-hand side of another vehicle and reversing into a van, before coming to a stop,” Qld Police said.


The driver of the 4WD then attempted to hi-jack another car before running into nearby bushland with his female companion.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late 20s with short brown hair.

The woman is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in her early 30s with long brown hair.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
